Rachel Emm there are hundreds of loving puppies up for adoption in Israel looking for homes, please don't go to a breeder. Here are some SPCA Israel (has lots of puppies for adoption) Tel Aviv Municipal Dog Shelter (כלביה העירונית תל אביב) and in Jerusalem ירושלים אוהבת חיות(a foster service where I got my dog from) and JSPCA - Jerusalem Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal. In most cases of adoption spaying/neutering and shots are free, and if you adopt from Jerusalem loves animals they will also throw in a free vet's visit and session with a trainer.

Rachel, check out adoptions through the many rescue/no-kill shelters here in Israel. "Reliable breeder" here is expensive, and my friend who got her dog from a "reliable breeder" spent a fortune in medical expenses because the pup came with Parvo.... There are a lot of puppies that need homes. I had Husky's that we wanted to train to run and pull with a pack...but I also needed to be able to walk them without being dragged along the street. We started using the head halter and within one or two walks they got used to it. The difference was amazing.
