I've had one experience with cross country movers. I wish I'd done it myself. It would have been cheaper, faster, and nothing would have been broken. Like all responsible consumers, I did the research AFTER my bad experience. Almost every review I found (about every company) said the same thing. CROSS COUNTRY MOVERS ARE CROOKS! I can't remember the name of the company I used, but this is the phone number. (702) 751-6615 DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER. DO NOT TALK TO A LOVELY SOUNDING ENGLISH LADY NAMED KAREN. Good luck :)

I didn't feel our inspector did a very good job when we were looking at our current house. His business is called Holmes Inspection. Not terrible, but I feel like he missed a lot.

When we moved we hired some company out of the yellow pages. When they showed up, a woman came and introduced herself as the "handler". She went to the meth clinic and grabbed two kids weighing about 98 lbs each. They didn't know how a moving dolly worked, wiped their greasy hands on our carpet, and tried to steal a couple items. After about 2 hours I told their handler to load them up and GTFO. Good luck.

I'm moving soon and went with Metro Wide Movers. Their communication was great. They were up-front with everything, from prices to expectations upon arriving. I went with them based on recommendations here, including that they're super quick and careful with stuff.

Under no circumstances use All My Sons Moving! Terrible service and it ended up being almost twice the quote. The guys even insisted on a tip and when I didn't have cash they told me they'd follow me to an ATM.

My friend Angie says-- We have used Precision Piano Movers twice and been extremely satisfied. They will need to know specifics about the piano and the situation at both where it is and where it's going to give an accurate estimate. I would definitely start with them. I think she has a baby grand that they moved
