Try Turner's in Leesburg (our favorite restaurant of them all), Carmine's in Western Ocala (excellent Italian), Braised Onion in Northeast corner of Ocala (about 55 minutes drive, but worth it).

Braised Onion is awesome or Cuvee....both in Ocala but worth the drive. Restaurants here are come see come sa as far as I am concerned so it's nice to "splurge" once in a while.

They all are pretty bad. But for "Asian" food Bamboo Bistro by Target is excellent. A lot of people seem to like Yummy House in Ocala. Have not tried it yet. Everything around here lacks the Chinese vegetables I am used to coming from Chicago.
