If you find one that actually responds to customer requests please let me know. I’ve been trying to find a great artist for a year. Even visited a couple but can’t get an artist to talk with me. They’ll happily take a deposit without any communication though. I have been talking to an artist that used to work at Big Buda Ink in Lafayette (which is not closed) but she’s at a shop in Broomfield now I think. I haven’t yet had work done by her but her portfolio is awesome. I’ll give you the link to her page...

Tara at Skin HDC will come to your house (or you can go to hers and save a little $), and she will work with you on the design. She is a nurse as well as a tattoo artist. She did a great job adapting a design by my niece for me (plus, she does free touch-ups). tara@skinhdc.net, 303-440-6611

Check out All Sacred Tattoo in Denver. They're a non-profit tattoo shop who donate portion of all of their sales to a rotating set of charities. They mainly do blackwork tattoos but everything I've seen come out of that shop is gorgeous. Check them out https://allsacred.com/about/

Someone on a local group recommended Josh Eon Johnson (do a fb search) to me yesterday... I looked at his work and it's absolutely phenomenal. He's in Denver.

I had a great experience with Smokey Banana in Broomfield. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and the artist had no problem creating my vision from the two examples I brought.

Aaron Dunnell at Bolder Ink in Boulder was incredible. He did this piece on me. I met with him before hand, sweet guy. Honest, straight forward, gives you a rough estimate of the price. I was able to more custom design the piece with him before the tattoo date and than once more right before I got it. He did an amazing job. The tattoo shop was clean, friendly, and professional. I really enjoyed my experience there and will definitely be planning my next piece with them.
