Yes I had to get an emergency route canal in May. Worst timing and I was very scared to go in during quarantine. Very clean and follows all safety guidelines. I did not catch Covid lol Also going in this week for cleaning. There is no additional "cleaning fees" as stated in another comment. He also accepts most insurance. The staff if really nice to Dr. FREMONT in pacific beach

Being quarantined means not going out at all because you are sick or were e posed to someone that is sick. Best to wait until your personal quarantine order is up.

I went to my regular dentist a few weeks ago and asked her how the quarantine was affecting her work. She laughed and said there was basically no difference in the actual provision of care, because dentists followed aerosolized disease infection protocols even before COVID, but that patients were understandably nervous.

Not sure where you’re located but I’ve been to the dentist several times during COVID! I adore San marcos dental studio and I received a root canal from La Jolla dental speciality group, they did a great job in my opinion. Hope you can get out of pain! It’s definitely the worst :(

Mine reopened in hillcrest but i haven’t gone. Just a warning i heard dentist offices that are open are adding on huge COVID cleaning fees

I actually went to mine, as it was a delayed cleaning and I was reassured of all precautions being taken. Face shields, gloves, masks and wipe downs of all the equipment. It's been 10 days and I think I'm fine. [location helps being up in Carmel Mountain where the cases are lower](http://www.ritefamilydental.com)

I went about two weeks ago. They had me hold a giant vacuum hose against my chest, they have a new non-stop suction thing that stays in your mouth the entire time, they had me gargle with a peroxide mix and wash my hands before starting, they all wore n95 + surgical + face shields. I had to call from outside when I arrived, they came and took my temperature and checked my oxygen levels. WAY different than my experience before COVID. The dentist who is amazing is, La Jolla Center for Advanced Dentistry
