I've used Erby Crofutt at B4U Close a couple of times recently. He is very thorough and is careful to go over everything he finds with you, and will explain (without making you feel like an idiot) if you have questions about any of it or don't understand something.

I highly suggest Bill Ingram. He did my home inspection, was extremely thorough, down to Earth, and explained everything in a manner which was easy to understand without being condescending. To top it off, he said that if I have any questions over the next 6 months, that I could call him anytime for advice. kyhomecheck@gmail.com

I used Pruitt Property Inspection, and a guy named Larry Sills did my inspection. I'll never go anywhere else. Not only was he thorough, and then took us to what he found and showed us, but he gave us a binder full of measurements, pictures, etc in addition to write ups about common things we'll face as homeowners and what to do about them. Can't recommend enough.

We just used a guy who identified a couple major issues so we canceled the contract. Well worth the expense, saved me about 40K in expenses. His name is Todd Adams - very thorough.

The guy who has done all three of my houses (and Justin Pittman's too) comes to Frankfort. Very thorough and encourages you to be there during inspection so he can point things out to you, good and bad. His name is Jim Ball, business name is Skyline Inspections...he's got a website
