Well you had to say Rockford but a short trip north to Roscoe vet services is the best. My wife, Debbie works there and they love cats and dogs. SE corner of 251 and Bridge St. 815-623-2143

They were complete jerks when I got a discount spay thru them. They didnt give pain meds, i asked after to see what to give her and they said I should of requested it. I said absolutley i would pay extra and the vet came out, yanked her out of the carrier and injected her like it was a hassle. Never going to Belvidere Family again! I guess low cost means not worth it. I love Frost too, but wanna stay in town, so we see Dr Dan at State Street animal. He is really sweet and informative. You can tell he loves animals

I too had issues with that vet! I have been going to Hillcrest Animal Hospital on Alpine in Rockford! I do not like State Street in Belvidere! My youngest dog ripped his nail in the back yard last summer and I called Hillcrest they got me right in and gave a local anesthetic cut the nail and sent us on our way with pain meds & antibiotic all for $65!

Depending on where you live/the drive you're willing to make, I'd recommend State Street animal clinic or frosts office. Fantastic vets, never caused us an issue with all 8 of our fur babies.:)
