If you're willing to drive two hours, I went to Bay Oral in Niagara, WI. They do wisdom teeth extraction under either local anesthesia or deep sedation. Mine went well, and I had an impacted one.

Dr. Chalgren at Copper Country Family Dentistry is my dentist. He does wisdom teeth extraction. He's doing mine next month and he did my sister's. Her's were fine. He does laughing gas. Edit: Both sets of teeth are/were on the easier side.

I am a dentalphobe as well. I had a crown done at Superior Smiles with Carla Skaates (whom I have known personally for more than 20 years) - I almost fell asleep. Seriously. Of course the crystals, lavender, friend praying in the lobby and the nitrus & Valium really helped as well..... LOL She is awesome. I'm not sure what her specializations are...

Dr. Kipka is AMAZING. I had a very incompetent dentist growing up and had to have a ton of work redone. Dr. Kipka was kind and patient with me as it I was fairly traumatized by my original dentist. Seriously great dentist and great person.
