Maureen Z. replied:
My daughter had a large mass in her throat and couldn't breathe. Every single hospital we took her to said it was anxiety. She began to turn blue and my husband rushed her to paoli hospital where Dr. Hove scoped her and saw she was suffocating from a mass that grew in her throat and did an emergency surgery on her. I would trust my life with him...the best ENT I have ever met! His office is next to Poali hospital. No one better!

https://findaprovider.nemours.org/details/1198/udayan-shah-otolaryngology-newtown_square-wilmington He did all three of my kids. Wonderful surgeon and fabulous with kids and parents. Highly recommend.
Lauren K. replied:
Dr. O’Reilly or Dr. Reilly. They have an outpatient office off of west Chester pike too. It’s like 12 minutes from Media you just take 252 to West Chester pike pike turn left where it intersections route 3 and it’s three lights on your either.
Alyson G. replied:
Highly recommend Dr. Robert O’Reilly at DuPont. Best doctor I’ve ever had.
Christine W. replied:
We love Dr. Reilly.
Alana S. replied:
Dr Reilly was good but I felt he blew me off when I told him how badly my son was breathing. After weeks of my son having issues, he finally agreed to take his adenoids out. He wasn’t able to do it for weeks (he went in medical leave for something) so I opted for another surgeon. Dr Nardone did it and was amazing. My son’s airways were 75% restricted.
Monica T. replied:
Dr. Barth--he did both of my girls' surgeries, one had tubes only, and one had tubes, tonsillectomy, and adenoidectomy. He's wonderful.
Lee H. replied:
Dr. Reilly! Worked with him for 10+ years in the OR at DuPont and he took my son's tonsils out several years ago.
Michelle O. replied:
We love Dr. Shah and Dr. Barth...NOT Dr. Reilly

We were happy with Dr. Shmidt, too
Kristy Y. replied:
We used Dr. Reilly for my older son's tubes and were very happy. I am using him again for my younger one too. We see him in the newtown square office.
Kimberly O. replied:
We've had excellent experiences with ENT at Dupont, My son has had multiple surgeries - cleft palate repair, plus 3 ear tubes. Dr. Schmidt did the major surgery and it came out beautifully, and he did 2 of the 3 ears. Dr. Shah is who my son sees now and he is great too. So I can attest that we have been very pleased with them for 7 years now.
Alisha M. replied:
Dr. Schmidt just did my son’s ear tubes last month, he’s awesome!
Carissa C. replied:
I also recommend Dr. Reilly in the Newtown Sq. office. Two surgeries for our daughter, and he is great. Plus, my daughter really liked him -- he's great with kids + parents.

Ashlee asks: Anyone have luck with a chiropractor over tubes? LO has had 3 ear infections since the end of Feb and doc has recommended ENT. And I'm about to quit the...
Melissa M. replied:
Chiropractic is not a treatment for ear infections, which explains why some children get results and some do not. IF your child's ear infections are being cause by nerve interference (very common from birth related trauma to the upper cervical spine), then it is likely chiropractic care can/will help. Go to www.icpa4 kids.org to find a pediatric chiropractor in our area. You won't know if it could help unless he gets checked.
Beth O. replied:
We kept our 1 st daughter (the one that was sick) in daycare uo to nearly 3 yrs old. Started back at an in home daycare for awhile then back to a center that last year. So she was again exposed to lots of illness. The providers often commented on how she was not getting sick when they would have outbreaks. I ended up getting a job with her chiropractor for 2 years so I got to see first hand how it helped with soooo many things. What an education I got! So I know many great, gentle chiropractors in Omaha area! Although some are out of network with a particular insurance company or if your benefits are limited, they have other options that are often more affordable than going through insurance. We love love our current chiropractor, Dr Chelsea Goedken at Back in Balance behind Lifetime Fitness off 168 th / West Center. ..a natural with babies and kids and truly cares about getting you better!
