The 15 minute drive is worth it because the staff knows you by name, its easy to get a same day appointment and Dr. McEwen spends a great deal of time with her patients. I would recommend Dr. Michael Montico 248-684-6155, he is in Milford by Holden's.

I recommend Dr Feldman in Commerce - I have been through many doctors over the years and he is excellent - he is to the point and very old school but gets to the bottom of the problems rather than handing out unnecessary scripts left and right and he is one of the few left that actually make rounds at the hospital if end up there...he met me and my son there on Sunday when he started wheezing - that says a lot in my book!

Edgewood is great. And for the adults and kids, Dr. VanOrt is great, too. She's on Commerce Rd right down from Edgewood. She's family practice and can see everyone. I used to work for her and she's very thorough. We like her so much that when we had lousy insurance that she didn't take, we would go to her anyway and just pay out of pocket. We take our children to her as well. Good luck with whomever you decide to go with!!!! Oh, and stay away from Dr. Barber at Milford Rd and 59. He falls asleep during appointments and procedures, is always late, and abuses the system by over prescribing meds and tests. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that man.

My hubby just left MFHC... Went to Dr Lepley. So far he really likes her.

Patti DeWitt Jozwiak she nice at first then she quickly turns My husband would go in because has diabetic neuropathy in his feet and she would give him meds for something else I don't like her because I have asthma and she said my inhaler were not needed. 2 days later I ended up in the Hostipal with asthma attack which I was admitted to the Hostipal for a week

We have always been happy with Dr. Lepley and have been seeing her for quite some time...

Dr Joy in m59 in Hartland is awesome for the kids. No suggestions for adults. I go to MFP and they leave a lot to be desired.

Dr Kosteke for kids on Milford rd. And Dr kopel is in hartland and they are also very good.

I have been going to Dr. Van Ort since 2000. She is a very good doctor. I didn't know for sure that she took kids, or I would have recommended earlier.

Huron valley ped I have always have had a great experience. Dr. Bockneck is fantastic with children.

Dr bocknek is no longer with Huron Valley Peds. Neither is their best office worker Lynn Bradford. I wldnt recommend it.

I haven't been to MFP since bringing my young daughter there for a headache many years ago. Dr. Rosella abruptly "adjusted" her head/neck to one side - without warning, explanation or permission! Then, when my daughter became upset, he yelled at her for not allowing him to do the other side. "Okay, you can walk around crooked all day then!" I will never go back there. AWFUL and frightening experience! (Just for the record, my daughter has never had an issue with doctors, never was ever overly sensitive or uncooperative. I, myself, see a chiropractor regularly and receive proper adjustments by a kind, experienced doctor who knows what he is doing.)

When we were looking for a new doctor, we contacted Dr. Kopel in Hartland...they said he wasn't taking any new patients. This was a little over a month ago so might not be the same now.

Love Doctor Booth and her nurse Lori. They are two of most caring and compassionate people I know. I'll go there as long as they are there.

Is the PA Diane Williams still there at MIlford family practice? I used to always see her years ago and loved her, then they didn't take my insurance any longer- she does some holistic approach in her practice

Lynnmarie Mullen, I was in HVP 2 weeks ago, Dr Bocknek had to have foot surgery (he broke his ankle or foot). They didn't give me any indication he was retiring, just that he would be out of the office for awhile recovering. Of course, something could have changed in the past 2 weeks.

My oldest daughter didn't like Dr. Joy Inyang (was a bedside manner type thing for her) We switched her to Dr. Kostecke (she was ok with that) Daughter now is an adult. My minor kids see Huron Valley Peds. Although my favorite pediatrician is Dr. Navai in Walled Lake (we left him because of insurance, otherwise would still be there) Can't help with adults as my husband goes to MFP and likes them, I see Dr. Brenner at Lakes Internal Medicine off of Haggerty by Pontiac Tr. (I like them, but don't know if you want to go that far)

I love Dr Najem but I have had things very messed up by the triage unit so but I stayed because I had a way to stay away from any further issues. Not sure what we will do now. Sucks to have a great doc you have known for 11 years (oldest 9) and have to think of going some place else because of an office employee.

Same here- when I went to Dr Feldman my first visit was an emergency and it was a Saturday when they were closing - he and his staff stayed for me to get there so I didn't have to go to ER And he diagnosed me first visit and 2 years later I am doing great under Feldmans care Kopel IS a good doctor and his wife is really good too but I am the "type" of patient they don't have the patience for.....so I moved on but I know many people that do go there and are happy- my kids liked them too but I like is to go to the same place and he is also one of the few left that make hospital rounds if your ever admitted

Sorry Fran Vanacker we just lefted Dr Lepley she was not helping me or my husband! I would not tell any one to go to her or Dr. Shukairy! Leah Ohmer if u looking for a good dr for the baby I would go to Huron Valley Peds they are on Milford rd

Our family has been going to Milford Family Practice since 1987. I have alot of complaints but I still go back because Ginnie is an awesome PA.

I don't like any drs from there from my past experience I take all my kids to Dr.Kowalski or Dr.Nair in Union lake my oldest is 17 my youngest 4 and I live in Fowlerville now still take them there

I work at Huron Valley Ped's, Dr. Bocknek is on medical leave until he is cleared by a doctor to return. Just to put an end to the retirement rumor.

I don't think that anyone is trying to "bash" doctors I think everyone realizes they are people too. My husband in fact works for Henry Ford health systems but there are issues that arise and at times those do need to be voiced in order for improvements to be made. My issues are nothing to do with wait times but other more impactful issues. I do agree that all comments need to be kept in a productive and kind light taking into account that the medical system as a whole can be very difficult for doctors and patients both. My kids grew up going to Dr. Kosteke on Milford Rd. Dr Herman on Milford rd for the big people!

Dr Kowalski, Dr Gorman, Dr Nair at Union Lake Pediatrics (their hospital affiliation is St Joe's Pontiac if admitted but they do send for diagnostic testing at Huron Valley Sinai too). They are AWESOME! We've been taking our kids there for 15 yrs.

My son used to go to Dr. Joy and for 3 days I kept telling her something was wrong with my son and I never thought she was listening to me so on the 4 th day I took him to the ER....never took him back to Dr. Joy! There was a penny lodged in his throat for 4 days! However I did like the other doctors there!

I have also had a lot of issues with Milford Family Practice.. I could go on for days about that place.

I had a misdiagnosis and received the wrong treatment twice at MFP and the office always messed up my insurance billing. Switched to Dr. Guido and am happy so far.

If you're willing to go to Commerce, Edgewood Pediatrics is phenomenal. We've been with them for almost 12 years. We primarily see Drs. Ober and Gendelman but have seen every doctor at some time. No complaints with any of them. They have a great PA / lactation consultant, and the live nurse line answers medical questions. The nursing staff have even walked me through viruses over the phone, monitoring progress every few hours to let me know when / if we needed to be seen. We don't hesitate to call during off-hours if we have an issue or question, and the docs on call have always been great.

Dr. Gendelman is AMAZING!!! He took care of both my children until they turned 20. We feel like we lost a family member when the kids left to a primary physician. I can not say enough GOOD about him. My husband wants to stop by and say hello to him, just because he is a great person and doctor. That tells ya something!:)

Grand River Medical, near grand river and Milford rd Dr. Taweel is amazing

I went to Dr. Martin since 1983, really like him, he is a gentle man, good listener, and good dr. I left the practice fall of 2015, only because I needed a electrophysiologist because my heart was acting up, switched over to HFHos.

Dr. Taweel is awesome, he not only caught my husbands 3 heart murmurs (that his pcp of 4 years did not)but he also really listened to our concerns and needs. I really don't think that any doctor I have ever seen has really ever cared as much.

Clarkston family medical!!!! They are worth the drive. Up to date and very thorough. AMAZING staff and doctors. I never wait more than 15 minutes

Dr. Jamey Taweel, his parents were neighbors of my Mom and Dad in Livonia...my niece and friends of the family go to him, said he is wonderful, very on top of things..his office used to be on Milford Rd. in one of the medical complex centers...not sure where he moved to..good luck.

I'd highly recommend Dr Taweel. Although he recently moved just outside Milford he is worth the drive. Look up his reviews. Friendly and efficient office staff, basically zero wait times, great online portal to communicate directly with the Doctor. And I can't say enough good things about the Doctor himself.

I love Dr Feldman in commerce - Alan Feldman and his PA is very nice as well They are open 6 days a week and you can always call him with emergencys He is very straight to the point and some may take that as rude but I needed that in a doctor he is old school but whatever he does I have never seen a person that has a high fever leave the office after a couple of shots and feel normal and eating that same night His staff are all wonderful and there is a wait many times but that's because he doesn't turn away people not feeling well and I appreciate that as I have been one many of times

I agree about Dr. Taweel. He recently moved from Milford to South Lyon but we really love him as our Doctor.

Sharon I go to Milford Family Practice, saw Dr. Booth too, I have been seeing Dr. Yovan, she is a lot like Dr. Booth takes the time with you.

My first choice would be Dr Keneth Colton down in I think Westland but second would be Tara at Jon barbers office and the office staff isnt the best but what makes up for that is Tara . she really is the best . for her to take all my problems on is amazing to say the least .
