I used to go to Barbers on Bryant but now I go to Craig’s Como barbershop, they are both great but Craig’s is now closer to me. I also have come to like and value his no appointments policy.

I tried Gents a couple times but wasn’t super happy with the cut. Right now I like Nathan at Roosters at the West End.

See Craig at Craig's Como Barbershop. $22 for a cut. He updates [his website](https://comobarbershop.com/) in real time with how many customers are waiting, so you can usually spot a good time to not wait too long.

[Fellas Haberdashery & Salon](https://www.fellassalon.com/) Only place my wife lets me go now. Great little two chair shop. Justin the owner is super nice and friendly. Offered me a beer during my first cut. Jackie is an absolute doll and the only person who cuts my hair. I want to say a haircut is $30-35 before tip.

Any recommendations for barbers who do well with Men's hair? My hair is a little longer. Not real long. Maybe 4 inches on top. I understand a good barber costs more...

Depending on how often you find yourself in St. Paul, I'd recommend GENT. Fantastic place that's off of Grand Ave. They do men's hair and shaves as well. If you can, get a haircut from Mustache Jim, and yes - as you'd might have guessed, he has quite the mustache. Really cool dude and a really cool place. Free refreshments as well.
Hob_goblin replied:
The Barber Sharp! Unfortunately for you, they are located in Nordeast, but hear me out. I never go anywhere else. Kelly, the owner, is the best and so are her employees. They offer everything from men's cuts, to lather and shaves, to massages. Plus, they offer you a PBR when you sit down. Just a dog warning, in case you have a phobia: they have a chill, little one who roams the shop named Gus. He's the best. He just walks around and looks at people and sleeps in the corners. I don't think I've ever even heard him bark. http://www.thebarbersharp.com

I went to the Mens Spa downtown the other day. Feels like it was decorated by the cast of Orange County Choppers, but if you can ignore that you get a little manly pampering with your great haircut.

[Roosters in Minnetonka](http://www.roostersmgc.com/barber/mn/minnetonka/13176/). On Shady Oak just north of 62. They specialize in men's haircuts only. I've been going there for a couple years (They were known as something else before). Not cheap, but they do a good job, and give nice scalp/shoulder massages.

I don't have a specific person to recommend, but both my husband and I (a female who has had both long and very very short hair) have had good cuts from everyone we've gone to at Floyd's 99 in Uptown.

How about something cheap? I get a simple taper with clippers and it's always like 20 bucks after tip at all of the big chains. It's 5-10 minute haircut, anyone know of any deals? The quarry great clips used to have a $7 clipper special, but that is long gone.

I go to don's hairstyling on bloomington and 46 th. I have been going there since I was a little kid. Pretty classic old school barber shop atmosphere. At this point I just walk in and sit down and don't have to mention anything unless I want it cut differently this time.
