With medi-cal...A good office is hard to find. I have never gone anywhere other than Sutter Gould for myslef. But for my son we started with hughson medical office with Dr. Erin Kiesel. She was fantastic but the office waits were very long and we often had problems with lost paperwork and undelivered messages. Sutter Gould surprisingly has a doctor who accepts medi-cal. They have the best relationships with their patients and luckily Doctor Robert Fromuth on coffee rd accepts our health plan of San Juaquin through medi-cal. You will not be disappointed!

Dr Cajigas at Sutter Gould on Coffee is wonderful. They did take my son's medi-cal for a time when my husband was laid off for a time back in 2010 but it may have been because we were already established patients. I do know they take Medi-cal but they might limit the amount of patients they take.

My daughter recommends Dr. Winstrup. My granddaughter has gone to him since she was newborn and is now 16. Located on McHenry Ave. Takes medi-cal

Shoba and Dr. Dharma at the pediatric clinic on scenic are wonderful!

Doctor Bernal at Golden Valley.

He's the only doctor at Golden Valley that is nice. His office is located right across the street from Doctors Hospital

Or call Dr. Jordan De-paz's office. He does everything pretty much and he worked with me trying various things to work out a wrist problem. I love going to see him!

as for a pediatrician I am currently looking for one in Modesto as well but I take him to Community Medical Center in manteca right now until I can find one here...address is 200 College Avenue #103. number is (209) 820-1500

Dr Vicki, or DR Martin at Pediatric Group

Dr.Vicki for infants. Dr. Joe Martin is awesome but won't see the very little ones (i believe the first year) . I am very picky and i have been seeing Dr. vicki for my two month old. very happy with her.

Dr. Vicki is hard to get into but very good. Dr. Shapiro is new but she is awesome. I really enjoyed taking my boys to her, down to earth, open to alternative therapies, delayed vaccines etc.

Alicia Wanderlust Faith Simmon is a nurse practitioner who works in the same office as Vicki and Martin, you would probably like her. I think that all in that office are good at listening to parents. I have never felt pushed into interventions i didn't want. Doctors who have been in our area a long time understand.

We go to Dr. Truscello on coffee. Dr. Lenser is another pediatrician in that office.

MINE TOO!! I was really mad at him when my son got sick--he didnt even listen to his chest. We went back in a day later and Dr Bauman actually LISTENED to him and sent him to get x-rays. Turned out he had pneumonia. Things happen, but he was a jerk about it all.

My boys don't see a pediatrician, but Valley Oak hadsa long and good history with parents. My 21 y/o nephew saw the Bailey's and they were great then. I think my sister liked Mrs. Bailey more than Mr.:)

I have Dr. Truscello in Coffee for my kids and all if ny neices and nephews goes there too. She is awesome!

Dr Bolton at valley oak is so thorough! Luv her. Spends a lot of time with patients, so we wait quite a bit for her... But worth it. She was out on medical leave and just came back this week. Weekend and after hrs also at valley oak. NO To bailey!!!

The kids were at Sutter Gould when we had Aetna, its on Coffee. They are literally all awesome doctors, and easy to be seen any time you need to be, even if your primary ped isnt there. I prefer Dr. Shassetz!

Dr. Lenses or Truscello. Dr. Bailey is quite capable, but Grouchy now. He was my boys ped 35 and 32 years ago.

Highly recommend Dr Baumann at Valley Oak. He is VERY thorough and hours are excellent. I refuse to see Dr Bailey if our main doc is not available in an emergency. But I'd think for you regular baby visits you'd be able to schedule your primary.

We go to Dr. Bolten. She was my pediatrician when I was a kid... Had to take jac to her when she was born:)

We have your same insurance. I went to 2 different doctors before we found a pediatrician I loved for me kids. Dr. Dena Lenser on Coffee Road is awesome. She is very thorough and explains everything. Saphyre has some health issues that weren't taken seriously until we saw her, I am so thankful for the amazing job she does, and that we get to see her everytime we go in. So highly recommend her!

Dr. Yang at Valley Oak is AMAZING. I take both of my boys to see him and see him every single appt. Ive never had any issues if I had to see Dr. Bauman in place of Dr. Yang. All of my sons information is in the computer AND they remember their patients.

I've had my run with peds....I personally didn't care for Dr. Truscello & would never go to Valley Oak Peds (I worked there for a while ago). I'm so glad the kids' insurance changed & we were able to go back to Dr. Gutierrez at Gould! She is awesome...very thorough...& the staff is amazing! Plus, blood draws can be done in office. I also worked for Gould & customer satisfaction is very important to them.

We have Dr. Cajigas (Sutter Gould) . He is so wonderful that even with our move to Lodi I refuse to find a new ped.

DO NOT use Dr. Fernando Elias. Dr. Truscello is an awesome peds Dr.

Modesto Pediatric. There are 2 peds there, both women, dr Lenser and Dr Trusello. We see Dr Lenser. I like here. I would answer yes to all your questions. Sometime I feel she is too cautious. But better to be safe than sorry. I saw the other dr once when my oldest had an ear infection. I liked her too.

I took both of my girls to Valley Oak Pediatrics. We saw Mrs Bailey. She is actually a nurse practitioner. I love; love, love her. She spends so much time with you and explains Everything! Now my granddaughter goes to her. Its a large enough practice that if your little one is sick, you will get in. And open weekends and holidays!

Valley Oak Pediatrics is great unless you have Kaiser then Dr. Barboza is excellent! smile emoticon

Sutter Gould is a really good hospital.

Try Valley Oaks Pediatrics on Prescott. It's a really nice office. Lots if Drs to choose from. After hours appt too!! I took my kids there and now my grandkids go there.
