Jaclyn Callahan Leonardi, I havent read all the responses but I see a few others complaining about Collins too... We left there a few months ago b/c the dentist was NEVER in... We ended up at Children's Dental Assoc of Westford... Maybe a bit far for you but we also have MetLife and they take it....

We use Dr Guirerro. I have gone there since I was a teenager and Now my kids go there as well. I love them and there are couple that are absolutely amazzzzzing with kids!!! I will never go anywhere else!

I took my 2 year old to http://childrensdentalnh.com in amherst (on 101 a). He only had a first exam but this practice was highly recommended to me by several people.

She's not specifically a pediatric dentist but Dr. Harrod at Merrimack Dental Associates (in south Merrimack) is great! She was extremely patient, kind and caring. The staff there was great too. They entertained my other son while I sat in the chair with the one being examined.

We love Levesque Family Dentistry in Nashua ! It's on Kinsley Street. Dr. Keith and Dr. Tara are great with kids! The whole staff is so so nice! I'd give them a try!

I don't know if they take medicaid, but Dr. MacAveeney at Children's Dental of NH (on 101A in Amherst) is amazing! I have witnessed him with kids who have downs, behavior issues and even the most difficult of kids like my little scardy-cat. He has the patience of a saint!

You might call Dovetail Dental in Amherst. Dr. Cariello has an autistic son so that may be a good place to start.

Dr. Joe at Dovetail is really kind an d great with kids, but, he pushed for more treatment than I was comfortable with (in the end, he was more than likely correct, but, it was too much for me at the time).. Nashua Pediatric Dentists is where we've ended up and we have been comfortable with everything they've recommended and never felt any pressure.
