Dr. Hogg!! He's amazing & there's never longer than a 10 minute wait in the waiting room. Very nice.

Dr Hogg is great! He's a family practitioner, both my kids and I go to him

We use Dr Carter in Coushatta. First dr who doesn't see to be a medicine pusher and who listens to me. We used Cornerstone for a while but some things I didn't see eye to eye with them on. My son has HFA and treatment with meds is tricky.

Dr Parker at Portico Pediatrics at WKP in Shreveport. He's my kids' doctor.

I see a lot of the pediatricians on the labor unit, can't go wrong with portico (I use Dr. Monica Haynes but Dr. Pistorius is HILARIOUS), mid city (i really like Dr. Pace) or pierremont pediatrics (Dr. Mack Jr I like a lot). All of the doctors in those group are nice and very smart. Look into hours- mid city has some Saturday hours and maybe Sunday and pierremont pediatrics I think has hours 7 days a week. Downside to Portico is no weekend hours. Also depends on if you have male/female preference. I went with a female for my son because I don't think it's a huge deal but he may prefer a male as he gets older, we will have to see.

I use Dr. Kimberly Burns right next to Willis Knighten South. Seperated sides and really good.

We love Dr. Mack and several of the doctors at Pierremont Pediatrics.

Pierremont Pediatrics had separate waiting and open 7 days a week. I've never had to wait long either. We have also used Pace at Mid City, loved him but it was always a long wait.

I'm in the same predicament! We were using Dr Ferguson but his office is closing. I guess we are just gonna go back to Dr Hogg. Although he isn't a pediatrician, we love him.

Dr Fair doesn't take our insurance, Dr Knecht isn't taking new patients. Any other advice? Lol.

We were using Ferguson too Terri Callia. We love him! And are very VERY upset he is closing. I can't stand cornerstone. We used Dr Hogg when Lexi was a baby but they won't take our insurance.
