My neighbor built a detached two-car garage and used these guys: http://www.amishgaragecrew.com/ I'm currently looking at building an attached garage. They quoted me about $22 k for a 15 x25 (oversized 1-car) garage, with doors, windows, siding, attic space, and foundation. I've had several local quotes that were 50-100% more, so with prices around here it's better to get it pre-fab and hauled down from PA. You'd have to hire your own electrician. County permits are just a few hundred. Depending on the square footage, you might need a drainage plan to be drawn up by a civil engineer that can run $1-2 k.
