I too have had a horrible experience with my home warranty and the HVAC people that they send. I fought with both the warranty company and the HVAC company for two years. SO frustrating! I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs online and the issue was resolved quickly after that. Good luck to you! Document EVERYTHING!!!

I called HWA told them that we have Four Seasons coming out Monday. I also informed them that I better be reimbursed without a fight!!! I'm doing there job for them!!! Talking with the girl at Four Seasons she said they hate working with Home warranty and stopped doing it because they would not reimburse them. Just great!!

My post got deleted...but my neighbor next door and we both used Dr HVAC out of Mac. If you call them make sure you mention that you need it checked for repair otherwise they will come prepared to give you a quote for a new system. They also responded the quickest.

Definitely call NW Natural. We had a similar issue and they came out and fixed it. Since you're dealing with gas, call them first. Not worth the risk.
