Ohio Broker here, I've been recommending Inspection Tech (inspectiontech.us) and used them for the home we're currently in. Good luck!

Tony Lombardo(440-632-8080) did mine, he was incredibly thorough and made suggestions on how to fix some of the little things he found.

I just bought my house a little over a year ago. my inspector and walked us through all of the good and bad things about the house and provided a very in depth break down PDF a few days later. very useful for someone who doesn't know much about houses like myself. Late to the party but I came across this while searching for an inspector to use. If you haven't already I highly recommend using Tom Buckley. Super nice guy and very thorough. We just had him inspect our contingent property this week and he probably saved us 2-3 k. http://www.rhouseinspections.com/root/contactus/?id=Contact%20R%20House%20Inspections

Did you ask your real estate agent? Usually they have a "go to" guy/gal that's reasonably priced. This is what my wife and I did recently with our first home. edit: typically, there's "tiered" inspection services. They charge more for pest, radon, etc. tests. I think a full inspection ran us about $300. edit2: Make sure you actually trust your realtor before you use their "go to" guy/gal.
