Amelia, the city does not install speed bumps any longer for a host of reasons, but there are other ways to calm traffic. Please call me at 203-943-9535 and I will set up a meeting to talk to you about that area around Thames. There is a system in place that takes time to get changes, including getting neighborhood buy-in, and you should know about it. I am volunteer and Co-chair of the Norwalk Bike/Walk Task Force, and do not work for the city. The city DPW is understaffed and overworked so sometimes we fill in and try to help.

I always loved Café Silvium in Stamford- great Italian, our neighbors knew the owners- sometimes booked like crazy on weekends. Wonderful pasta dishes, chicken, veal... I used to order the linguine with clams, loved it... It is in the Shippan area, and is a great place.:) Have fun!
