First, be sure to get an inspection. It costs about $125 but worth it because it not only covers termite damage but also wood rot and moisture issues. I recommend Ojai Termite to my clients all the time. Ken is an Ojai guy and very fair and thorough. For roofing, Tim Reed at Ventura Roofing is great. Tim and his family have lived in Ojai for years.

Alan Sloan is a great roofer, he's honest affordable, does great work. He pays all the proper insurance (that's huge) so if anyone gets hurt, it's not your problem (805 218-4443

Shadow Roofing beat out, by a bunch, a roofer mentioned a few post above this, using exact same composition material. A BUNCH! Awesome work. In and out in two days. Stripped off the two layers already on roof. Cleaned up SO well, you'd never know there were there. HIGHLY recommend them.

Sandra The Tesla roofs are now cheaper than conventional roofs, come with an infinity warranty (wild!), and provide power to your home. I finally ran out of reasons not to order one. The only problem is that if you need roof replacement now, you'll have to go conventional as Tesla roofs are probably 18 months out for Ojai. Still, might want to check them out.

I can't help with the local and reasonable aspect of your request given that I've not had a first hand experience with Ventura Roofing but the fellow across the street from me used them. He's pretty picky and was happy with the result. For what it's worth.
