I had mine done by Dr. Giddens in Brampton, he uses the "gentle" method. And I have a great story about mine that I love sharing with people. But it's too long to type. Let's just say the grounding cord fell out of the socket during the cauterizing stage, and I'm reasonably sure I know what being tasered feels like....

Go see Ed at EDS Brama Shoes on First Street first plaza north of Broadway. He will take a casting of your feet and make great orthotics. I had Plantar Fasciitis a few years ago and I am back hiking and playing Sports. I tried family foot care but orthotics were poorly made and I can barely stand on them for an hour and they cost over $600. Eds are custom for you and mine were cheaper.
