We have gone to Shawnee Mission Pediatrics for 21 years and have seen all the doctors there and also 2 who have retired. We see Dr Jennifer Andrews who has become my favorite. She's darling and you'd love her!

Dr. Edward Belzer.. he works at the Pediatric Professional Association in Overland Park. All of the physicians and nurses there are really great. They have a great facility too.

Love Dr. Brunner to deliver babies with and I'm sure she's a great baby doc too. A very popular pediatrician a lot of new parents choose and comes highly recommended is Dr. Yu. Not sure where he's located though.

Dr. Debra Winburn, awesome! I called on her as a rep & took Cassie to her. She is at College & Antioch. Make a consultation to see if it is a good fit. I know a lot of the docs so ask me about any if you want.

Dr. Martin at Pediatric Care specialists is FABULOUS....but its OP (by Costco off metcalf) http://www.pedcarespecialists.com/ We've also seen Dr Wichman and like him a lot too, if you prefer a male.

I love pediatric care specialists with Dr Grossman, however, they are in OP by st luke south. We currently go to a pediatric office in Olathe by the great mall! I like them but would prefer pediatric care because of the walk ins, ease of getting appointments, and awesome office staff!

One thing I love about Pediatric Care Speicalist is their daily walk in apts available in the AM or PM- or if you have a sick child you can call and schedule a same day apt if you prefer. This is year round, not just during flu season!

Jessi I have no trouble getting in. They also run a walk-in sick clinic (no appt necessary) mon-sat. We have been very pleased. I have to say, we have only seen Dr. Bush and Ann RNP. The doctors left a large practice here locally to start their own and serve their patients as they see fit.

I swear by Premier Pediatrics. They are amazing. We see Dr. Bush and their whole staff is amazing! I just took Wade in this morning to the 6 day a week walk in clinic at the pediatrician office...no waits ever and they are awesome!!!!!!!

Dr. Deroo and Dr. Nitzel at college point medical plaza are both great! Dr. Deroo is Maci's dr but when he isn't available we see Dr. Nitzel and she is wonderful too! It's in the olathe health system at k7 and college

Dr. John Feehan with Olathe Family Practice. Not sure if he does pediatrics but he's been my family doctor for as long as I can remember.

I agree with Meg. Dr. Winburn has been with our children forever. I don't know what we would have done without her. You really really should consider her a great choice. Her office is at college boulevard and Antioch now. We thought we had a good pediatrician before. Dr. Winburn has showed us what a good pediatrician looks like. We love her!!

We go to Dr. Sprengel, one of the Family Med residents at KU. Then if I can come over for her visits during the day, I'm close!

Both our kids go to Shawnee Mission Pediatrics, in one of the office buildings next to the hospital. I'm a little biased though since my dad used to work there. There are 4 doctors in the practice and would be happy to go to any of them.

I see Dr. Gershon at lees summit pediatrics and love him. He's about the only one I'd recommend in the practice as far as being breastfeeding supportive.

There are some practices such as mine that provide lactation services and nurses in office, you may want to look at a place like that. We go to Pediatric Care North which is up by Zona Rosa but I love it there and my doctor is great. Dr. Stephanie Bays

The Department of Health and Human Services (hhs.gov) should have area and national statics from individual doctor's to full hospitals. You will get some valuable information from there!

My favorite by far is Dr. Espe! His office is in St. Josephs Medical Center. He had been in practice for a long time, really knows his stuff, pays attention to things other doctors don't, he doesn't rush you at all (he spends a lot of time with you and baby making sure you're both comfortable!). He's amazing amazing amazing. I can't say enough good things about him.
