Lisa, I feel the same way you do. I went to the dentist about twenty years too late cause I hate them. And I told him that when I got to him. But he turned into a very good and gentle dentist. Dr. Stephen Hickey. He is on Harford rd just before Southern Ave and he does take Delta insurance. Good Luck.

I love Drs. Maranto on Joppa Rd in Towson. It's a father -daughter team. They are both great, always on time, no often early. Several times I've arrived 10-15 minutes early and was taken back right away. The front desk staff is also always very pleasant and helpful.

I had a horrible previous experience where I could feel any type of work that was being done to my teeth when I should've been feeling numb so I became very nervous about the dentist.
