Are you looking to buy or build. Libby Massiah is a wonderful realtor if you are looking to buy and can give you her input on builders if you are looking to build. I know there are lots off builders around but I know some aren't great so I would talk to someone with experience

I am relocating to the area after spending the past 12 years in the National Capital Area. I closed on a home in Midland, Georgia in the middle of my Captain's Career Course in San Antonio. My agent, Andrea Shields with Keller Williams was great with addressing all concerns and assisting me when I was unable to physically be there. We spent tons of money fixing all their mistakes so we could sell our home. I couldn't let someone else buy the train wreck from us that we bought from Dave Erickson. On a 10 year old home we had to replace all the sofit & fascia, multiple windows & do ors (including casings), multiple areas of the roofdeck (the board under the roof), chimney flashing (including insert flashing in places that should have been flashed and never were).... the list goes on. Just poor quality over all. If you want a reputable builder, I absolutely recommend Hard-ing Builders . They're local, moral and take pride in their work and putting out high quality homes. Whoever you choose, research research research. Look at their older subdivisions and see how the houses are holding up, knock on doors and ask questions of homeowners. Most are happy to tell you the good/bad/ugly. Even the worst builders can make something look pretty from the outside looking in (aesthetics) you need to know if its just as pretty from the inside looking out (the bones).

Our subdivision is made up of Greyhawk/Trademark homes. I would definitely not recommend Trademark. We've had so many issues with ours. frown emoticon

Don't buy from Houston Builders either my air conditioning / heat unit still have problems and I have to fix a lot of their mistakes I still don't get no heat or air in one of my bedrooms I hate them hopefully I will sell the house in July

No way. Run! They used to be in business under the name Pinacle Homes. Poor quality and a bad reputation led them to change the name, if that tells you anything.
