Uptown Barber Shop off of 16 th street and Bethany Home is awesome. Even when it’s jam packed in there they’ll have enough staff to get to you pretty quickly. Also, I know this sounds weird but they give you a brief back/neck massage after every haircut with a little machine. It was awkward the first time I went but it’s actually pretty awesome

This comes up so often it'll probably get added to our wiki. I'd suggest checking some of the past [barber/salon threads](https://old.reddit.com/r/phoenix/search?q=flair%3Arecommendations+%28 barber+OR+salon+OR+hair%29&restrict_sr=on&sort=relevance&t=all) and see if anything there might help. Reddit search isn't the greatest, but it can turn up lots of great posts in a sub.

Check out Matt’s Barber Parlor on 7 th ave and McDowell! It’s a bit pricey starting at $25 for the haircut but the shop itself is a really cool experience, the barbers are super chill, and they’re the best haircuts I’ve ever had.

Bishops on McDowell is pretty good. Not sure it's a "traditional" barber shop because it's a chain, but the people are nice and I've never gotten a bad cut there. Ask for Dylan
