IME everyone at Denver Health has been great and looks at cannabis as a great option. My psych and my Primary Care both encourage my use after a few visits, and noone there has ever told me that it's not real medicine, etc.

There is an IBD specialist at UCH, Dr. Mark Gerich, who was doing studies on MMJ and it's effects on IBD patients at one point. I'm not sure if it's still going on though.
