Rebuilt trans installed is more like $2000. Have to do it yourself to get $900. If you lost forward and reverse gears it sounds more like the transmission pump. Not that I am a transmission guy. www.car-part.com is a website that does a salvage yard lookup. Option 2 is Craigslist always scary with transmissions. What kind of van is it?
