I'm not sure what you mean by emergency (nor am I going to ask you to share your personal details online), however, you may also find that GS Jones Law Group may be of assistance.
Jodi P. replied:
If GS Jones cannot help you, there is a very searchable lawyer directory search engine at wsba.org Other legal self help websites are: waweblawyer.orgWashingtonlawhelp.org

I am looking for a local lawyer to help me become my sons guardian when he turns 18. Any suggestions?
Leah R. replied:
Ron Richmond?
Tiffany M. replied:
Go to avvo.com Best place to find lawyers, ask questions and get the help you need. I generally does not cost anything but they do have a call service that cost. I would recommend before that look at the attorneys that are local, many have free consults.
Kate C. replied:
Lindsay and Lindsay on Tremont. I had a consult with them and they can do guardianship. My daughter is only 7 years old so I was a tad early, but he assured me that once she is about 16-17, we can start the process and they can do it there.
Leah R. replied:
I completely endorse Ron Richmond and trust completely that he is honest and fair.

Christina you might want to check into legal Shield to see what benefits they can offer. If this is not part of the membership you would still receive a 25% discount. Membership includes a free will. Low monthly cost of 19.95 mos. covers your entire family. You can look more into it at my Web site . My family has used the services for car repair issues, small claims, traffic tickets and more. Christina Huntley - check with the courthouse, you might be able to do it yourself and may have a list of pro bono lawyers who could assist.
