After a few mishaps with more than 3 HVAC contractors... (one smoking something other than cigarettes in my driveway!!) …I went with a reputable company called Dobbs heating and air…770-445-8923. They fixed the problems causes by the other contractors. I signed a maintenance plan with them I like them so much! So glad I found them.

It can be as simple as your unit needing a recharge (refrigerant) or your condenser coil is clogged and need to be cleared. If they are quoting you $1900, it's probably your compressor that's gone and it's an expensive repair. If it's just your fan, it wouldn't be nearly that expensive. Fan and capacitor cost a couple of hundred dollars. Get a reputable company to take a look at your unit. This isn't something you want "Tyrone AC Repair" taking care of. Wish I was there to help!!! Let me know what it is.
