El Capitan (sp) up by the light house has the best views and the food and margaritas are good. Bella Serena is an amazing place to stay

Friendly Dolphin is awesome since it reopened

Amigos or Satisfied Frog....Tekila Bar has their opening this weekend - I've not been there but the pics look like a great view, too.

All good suggestions. We are going to Fish the second night and we'll have to try Boo Bar as well. We always go to the malecon first . It's our first and last stop in RP. We eat something and then "walk it off" looking at all the shops... Our favorite part!

Sonoran Grill,

Sonoran Grill at Sonoran Spa. They also own Max's & Bryon's sports bar in town. Pretty reasonbly priced

I could be wrong but I think I remember someone saying Combo Taco is the same. It's on Freemont. I could be wrong but we do like the tacos there.

MR Fish Taco is in cholla Bay. So the easiest way to get there if you've never been out to cholla bay, is to take the road that runs parallel to all the condos at sandy beach. When you reach Esmeralda (the white partially completely complex) the road will turn into dirt. Keep driving on that. On the left you will see the new Cruise Port Jetty being installed. You will come to a 4 way stop, left takes you to wrecked at the reef, right out into the desert, straight takes you to cholla bay. As you drive straight you will see competition hill right in front of you and the road will curve around to the left the curve back to the left. right before you get to cholla the road makes a sharp right and you pass through the police substation. keep driving on that toad, it splits once at the convenience store, stay to the right and shortly JJ's Cantina will come up on your right. Just past JJ's you will see about 8 sailboat masts in a yard. Mr Fish TAco is right there at the top of the boat yard. It is very easy to get there, this is just a very detailed in case you never have been to cholla.:) well worth the drive out there. The whole area of Cholla Bay is awesome.:)

I think Guiseppe's uses Puerto Viejo's coffee, don't they? Puerto Viejo is a coffee shop and roaster, located in the Malecon. They may supply for some of the other restaurants too.
