Where is a fun place to take a little boy for his birthday for supper tonite? Just some singing waiters and a dessert would be fine.

This is the only place I can think of, but haven't been there in ages. http://www.yelp.com/biz/magic-time-machine-dallas

My kids absolutely love Zenna off 75 in Plano. That's the only place my son wanted to go for his 8 th birthday. The large Chinese dragon comes out with drums and brings a free dessert. http://zennarestaurant.com
Does anyone have a favorite Chinese delivery? I've tried a few around the area, but nothing too impressive yet. Any suggestions?

Try Jasmine out of Addison. 972 991 6867 / 6868 This is the only place we order after trying all the closer ones. It is pricey but worth it for every once in a while treat.

We order from Glory Chinese over off of Belt Line (near Plano Rd.) (972) 680-9812. We've been really pleased with them. Everything we've tried has been good.
Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced local caterer? I'm all about keeping my $$ in Richardson. ;) Thanks in advance!
Stacey M. replied:
Thanks y'all; I need something that offers lots of variety (like Kathy's Choice) and need to keep it shellfish-free, vegetarian-friendly, and no ethnic food except for Italian or Tex-Mex. (My family are picky eaters, myself included!)
Anyone have a favorite restaurant/place to go for party trays. I don't need a full caterer- just want to pick up some nice trays with great apps/desserts.

Martha tried that Zoeys Kitchen on Campbell and said it was really good. Might give them a try?http://zoeskitchen.com/Catering.aspx

Central Market is great, also Festive Kitchen is amazing. They have a location in Dallas and Richardson. Check out their website. For healthy trays, Cooper's, Tenleys Cafe over at Craig Ranch.:-))
