I just had a spine sheath tumor removed from my spinal cord on July 15 th by Dr Mellissa Macias. I also have BCBS PPO. I would get MRI to find out exactly what is going on.

Your neck, shoulder pain, & radiating down your hand could all be related to something in your cervical spine. Rock Valley Pain Management is good. Dr. Tamara ( I can't spell her last name) is excellent. I would stay away from Dr. Minore. I'm a big fan of Rush for back treatment. It's a drive but the care is well worth it. Good luck. Back pain sucks.

Amber,My Dad knows this lady in harvard, my sister had problems with her back for over a year and numerous visit to dr,mri,and everything else including wanting to back surgery she finally went this this women in harvard 2 x and was 100% healed! he has also sent friend and they have had 1 to 2 visit and totally fixed.

Dr. Orem at First Step Chiropractic across from Edgebrook Center. She practices NUCCA chiropractic which does not involve twisting or cracking... it is all done in an upper cervical adjustment or very soft and precise manipulation of the area needing a n adjustment. I found her to be more thorough than regular chiropractors, and she only adjusts you if you are not holding your last adjustment. I was having pain in my knees, and even that has gone away.

I HIGHLY recommend Rae Powell. I can't remember her business name but her phone # is 815-943-7393. She was not from Rockford but always met us somewhere in Rockford (we live in Pecatonica). Our Emma was in such pain that vet thought we might eventually need surgery. We asked about chiropractor for dogs and he said why not try it. I found a flier with her name and it was so wonderful. When we took Emma for 1 st visit she could barely get in car. When we left after 1 st visit she was wagging her tail and jumped right on car. I swear she was actually smiling. After that Emma was so excited whenever she saw Rae. Rae's so awesome! !
