I'm with Laurie. Dr. Parmer has been our doctor for over 5 years now, and is great. Very nice, relaxed but professional staff that actually keeps to appointment times, and he's affiliated with Floyd......a huge plus in my book. Oh....and he's also a huge advocate of lifestyle changes over medication when it comes to addressing health issues.:-)

I just switched this year to Dr. Douglas. He has two nurse practitioners - Lori Ponder and Caye Burch and they are both FABULOUS. Whenever I am sick, I can just go there instead of urgent care (hate urgent care) and I have never had any trouble with billing or getting seen and I just generally LOVE them there. It's on Riverbend behind Kroger, so super convenient, too.

He's awesome & I was nervous too but he makes you comfortable & he actually listens to you & treats you like an individual, not a number, he kinda reminds me of Dr. Miniyar except he's for adults lol.. The office is right next to Urgent Care.. its actually the same building.
