Call Posey Animal Shelter in Cedartown. $65 is what it cost to get my 26 pound Boston terrier fixed. They keep them overnight to monitor them. They transport them to the place to be fixed. They are really good. Its not in Rome I know. But it beat EVERY price in Rome.

Lakeview will be the cheapest...they aren't big and fancy, don't have a new building but that is also how they keep their costs down...I currently take my pets there...however I did have to use Mt Berry when mine was closed and it was a blessing bc it ended up that my vet would not have had the specific dye used to test my cat for Hemobartinella (?) which is what he had. I have numerous friends that go to Mt Berry. I have also used Culbreth Carr & Watson...they are awesome but will be more expensive as will West Rome Animal Clinic. Possum Trot is another very reasonable but small/no frills atmosphere.
