George, we went to Dr Atcheson(office in Rancho Cordova area) (916) 362-9247 for my sons wisdom teeth and he was wonderful. We had met life dental so not sure about insurance. Hope you get it all worked out soon!

My son just had a molar pulled out because it broke. We used Sacramento Surgical Arts they do amazing work I also used them when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. They do private pay only. If he is 21 Alta can help with dental if it’s on his IPP I just learned this with my son. Also Highland Oakland Hospital has a special needs dental clinic and takes Medical/Dentical with a 2-3 month wait

My daughter's dentist takes medi-cal and is located in Diamond Springs, near Placerville. He's fantastic! Dr. Goodis at Diamond Springs Dental Center 530.344.0290. He works on difficult cases and loves helping ppl!

If you have Delta Dental and want to drive to Woodland I would see Dr Choi who has privileges at Woodland Memorial Surgery Center and does his dental work there. I use him yearly for one big dental work on my son

King Oral Surgery was great for our autistic son. He made sure to make him the first appointment of the day. He was very patient waiting for my son to come out of the surgery and didn’t rush us. I was really happy with our experience. He is located near Blue Oaks Theatre.

Dr Nikki Hakimi is the best in the business. I used to work for her. I can say I trust her with my child and they offer IV sedation.

I used Dr. Margaret Delmore for my son who needed to have his surgery in a Kaiser hospital. She did really well with him and she has privileges with Kaiser (I have been told that only 3 oral surgeons have privileges with Kaiser aside from those who work within Kaiser itself but they don’t do extractions).

I used to work for Dr Nikki Hakimi. She is in Auburn. Not sure if she is still in the Roseville office too. It was across the street from Sutter Rsvl. By the Chevron and starbucks. She's wonderful and they do conscious sedation..... <3

My son has had hospital dentistry with Dr. Bughao (of El Dorado Hills) for several years now, paid for by our Delta Dental plus Kaiser health insurance and the rest by (I think) MediCal and Alta. Start with Alta first with questions? His most recent was at Kaiser Roseville, but he has also had it a couple of years ago at Sutter. And they did do his wisdom teeth one year...no problems. It was much easier to do it under anesthesia, for all of us!

Dr. Pluckhan. I don't remember where his practice is, but he's basically the best oral surgeon out there. Both from a being a genuinely nice person standpoint and being a very good Doctor standpoint.
