Wherever you end up, there's likely to be a "rush" charge. If you're out and about the metro today, I see my tailors of choice are open until 4 pm on Saturdays! They do fantastic work on treacherous alterations, like shoulders on blazers-- depends on what you're having done. I'm not sure about the 24-hour turnaround, but we LOVE Hamline Cleaners! We've needed turnaround of 2 days before and they've been very accommodating. Not in Midway, but we use John's Tailors on Lexington and Larpenteur and have been very satisfied with them, too.

I like Hamline Cleaners on Snelling and Blair. It's family run since the 1930 s, reasonable and the guy managed to get cat pee smell out of leather.
