I worked as an ophthalmic assistant for about five years and unless you need an actual pediatric ophthalmologist I'd say Appleton. I saw Dr. Gasoroeski when I was younger and any of our pts they referred in had great notes and wonderful things to say about their doctors

Yes, they have Optimap technology to monitor the vessels in your eyes for early detection of things like macular degeneration and retinopathy but without that crazy dilation drop stuff. He's calm and patient with my 9 year old son who seems to like him. And he's quick to offer deals with contacts for the hubby.

Dr Kevin G is the absolute best. He is a total eye geek! He loves what he does and it shows...whatever your problem, he can figure it out. Adults and kids...I have been to many and he is hands down the best!

I take my son to Dr Lee at Walmart vision (yes it's in walmart but he's a real doctor) they have more advanced technology than other eye dr's I've been to, like a machine to test the vision without needing to do the eye chart test as well as taking photos of the insides/backs of your eyes each year to check for subtle changes. Maybe all eye dr's have this stuff now, I don't know. I like him though.

Appleton Eye Associates has locations in Newburyport and Amesbury. Dr. Kevin Gasorowski is not only my eye doctor but also my son's. He is awesome, uses humor and truly takes the time to listen!

I'm with Alyssa, they are wonderful. We are on the second generation there. My kids now theirs. Dr. Farah is amazing and she is so sweet and easy to work with. Not sure about the men there. We had Lace and Gilbert but Lace is the only one there now and not sure how involved he is. My uncle a Dr. at OHSU said he was a top knotch Ped. My two cents:) good luck

I go to peace health pediatrics. I really like my doctor his name is Jeffery Joink (yonk). He's kinda a goofy but knows his stuff and isn't so pushy. He even gave her a book and read it to get. He also wrote Larry a letter from Tayla thanking him for quitting smoking.

Dr. Young my lil sisters and brother go there we have been with him since I was in elementary hes awesome. Not judgemental at all. very patient he definitely knows what hes doing. If he finds even something small wrong he always double checks just to make sure its nothing big. If he aint excepting patients the other doctor is awesome to her name is dr. EVERETT

I think you're having a run of bad luck my friend! We haven't had any issues. I'm guessing Dr. Dacker who is great, takes kids. We have considered switching to her.

We see Dr Koltar at salem pediatric, but I did see Dr Stout today with Maddie and I really liked her too.

I love the Salem Clinic! So much so I drive from Albany for my Dr stuff! Everything a family could need in one place! (Well really they have three locations now)

My doc is a family medicine practitioner at Salem Clinic (vs pure peds) but he is AMAZING!!!!!! Dr. Eller is the best doctor I've had in my life because he asks for my input and trusts my instincts about my body and gives me several options to choose from instead of just telling me how I'm going to be treated for any given issue

My kids have been going there for 3 years and we absolutely love it there. We have seen several providers there. Their PCP is Sherry Sweeney.

I think you will love anyone there. Jimmy goes to Dr. Kimmerle and we love her. You will have to wait when you go in because she spends time with you and never makes you feel rushed. So you wait but when its your turn she gives you lots of attention.

If you go to Childhood Health Associates, have Dr Farah be his dr. You will LOVE her. She was KC and Tays dr til I switched them to my primary dr about a year ago.

I was calling around for circumcision prices and Salem Clinic is over $100 more than everywhere else. Lol NOT going there ever again after I give birth. I haven't been impressed with their care at all, I definitely will not be taking my son there!

We're looking at Salem Pediatric Clinic for right now, they do circumcision for $283 and we've heard good things about them. If we don't like them we will change to another until we find one we like.

Dr. Amelia Roth is awesome. They accept OHP. Not sure about the antibiotics, haven't needed to use that option. She is great with Aria.
