I wish I could refer you to someone, but I was taken to the nearest trauma unit (Mission Hospital) and was very well taken care of. Once I was stable (two days later), I was transferred to Kaiser Permanente (my insurance provider). All my therapy/rehab I received was through Kaiser. My Kaiser physical/rehab/respiratory therapists were all amazing.

My husband went to Dr. Andre Betts. He's a pain management specialist. Our primary care physician wanted to rush my husband into emergency surgery for herniated disks and protrusions into his spinal column. My husband's back was spasming so bad he couldn't really ask. He saw Dr. Betts who spent over an hour with him and was very thorough. He ended up putting my husband in physical therapy and using a message therapist. It's been a miracle for my husband. He's walking straight upright and no back pain (as long as he keeps up with his stretches) I can't recommend Dr. Betts enough! 949-364-8959. Off Camino de Los Mares.

Community Orthopedic Medical Group, in Mission Viejo, is fabulous. They have specialist for joints, hands, feet, back and have taken care of myself and my family for years. Call the office, tell they your problem and they will schedule with the appropriate specialist. My husband tore his rotator cuff and will be having surgery with Dr. Marangi this month. They have their own surgery center. I am a retired RN and am very particular about the physicians I use for myself and my family.

He fixed my torn ACL years ago and never had any issues since! I'm Super active too!

Both of those doctors are at the same practice along with Dr, Franklin. I've used Seaview many times and have always been happy.

We use Scott Graham at South County Orthopedic Specialists. Although I've heard that the doctors there are all good. Our visits have been for knee, ankle and shoulder issues.

I love Dr. Thompson at Thompson Chiropratic on Camino Las Mares. He has helped me with neck, back and spine issues. He might be a good starting point for you.

Community Orthopedic in Mission Viejo. Dr's Burdie and Evangelista have each done injections into my shoulders. I did not feel a thing. In fact, I asked Dr. Burdie after he was done, when he was going to do it. He's that good... Likewise Dr. Evangelista has superb technique! Highly recommend them!

Gus Gialamas is the absolute best. Did my knee, my daughter's ACL and my back. None finer anywhere. Understand when my back went out i couldn't walk. 8 hours after surgery, he had me walking again and today, you will find me lifting strong at 24 hour Fitness every day with no limitations

My son broke his collar bone last summer and I loved his orthopedic surgeon. He is Dr. Bret Batchelor with Coastline Orthopedic in Fountain Valley 714-850-7300. He did surgery on Erik and was fantastic. HMO covered all costs. Good luck

Thanks for the help friends! We went to John Parker on Laguna Road in Fullerton - thanks first responder John Hogan! It's just a small fracture near his elbow - no cast neccessary. No skateboarding for a few weeks.
