We've had some success using http://www.care.com/ in the SJ area. Once you find a good sitter or two you can cancel your sub.

I haven't used it but people have recommended http://www.care.com/ to me.

Lindy Minch: Canine Corral Dog Daycare is a good one. They do a great job matching up puppers with similar play styles and temperament. Also really good with the more shy/fear/insecure dogs.

They have doggie cams set up so you can tune in on your pups while they are there. My dogs come home exhausted from a day of fun and they've both lost weight. i am so happy I can do this for them.

Welcome to Willow Glen, Louise. Please don't let one person's comments upset you. A young dog needs more than one walk a day. Sounds like you are great "parents". My lab got three walks a day when she was younger and still gets two at 3 1/2 plus daycare at least once a week. Lynne Johnson is wonderful 408-315-5902.

I recommend Canine Corral, and I've heard good things about Dr Dave's and WeDogCare, but none of those are particularly south.

I was going to suggest Canine Corral to Stacy but I didn't think they were far enough south. I don't know anything about the ones I suggested above but they are definitely south san jose.

Downtown Dogs is good as well.

We use Klub K9 for our chocolate lab. It's in Sunnyvale, but it's awesome. Prices are good and my dog always comes home tired and happy.

Our son goes to Willow Glen Academy on Minnesota and Meridian. Awesome staff, our son enjoys it and is showing great developments.

My daughter goes to SJPPNS San Jose parent Participating Nursery school. The school and teachers are amazing my daughter and I toured several different schools and this is such an awesome way to meet fellow parents in the community.

I honestly don't think Sonyas school is to badly priced... It is quite a bit more academically orientated as opposed to being a play based center they have great hours 630 am-6 pm good for pretty much any type of schedule! It is called Neighborhood Christian Preschool near SJ city college
