There are none here in LA. Dr Garcia is in Santa Fe. My hubs just had surgery Tuesday in abq. With dr Shawn baker. He did a great job with my husbands ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. I would recommend him and his staff. I know it's a drive but they have been absolutely amazing.

Dr. Guttman has an office in Santa but works out of Taos. He operates on the us ski team and is a fantastic surgeon. He did a full shoulder replacement on me this year.

Beware of Dr. Baer! - he seriously botched my friend's hip replacement surgery and didn't tell him about the complications until my friend caught him in the act of trying to cover it up. A year and a half later, my friend still walks with a limp and has severe pain which he's treating with weekly heavy duty acupuncture sessions because he can't take narcotic pain meds.

Dr. Baer did my dad's knee replacement, and had great care during recovery and PT. In his case a totally positive experience.
