Stay on Tybee Island and get a limo company to transport you to party. We did that for my 30 th bday it was a blast. We got a mini bus instead of a limo and staying in a beach house was more fun and cheaper than a hotel. We went through VRBO.com. Also if you plan on going to the parade get up at 5 am and be there by 6 at the latest or you won't be able to park or be on the parade route.

My younger brother is in management w/ the Knightsbridge Restaurant Group. Any of these restaurants will be excellent. None cheap but the food is outstanding. We, personally, have enjoyed Bibiana Osteria Enoteca, The Oval Room, and Rasika, Flavors of India. If you enjoy Indian food GO to Rasika! It's outstanding. Outside of this group of restaurants we have definitely enjoyed 2 of Andres Jose's restaurants, Oyamel Cocina Mexicana and Zaytinya which is middle eastern small plates. I think Zaytinya may top my list! The flat bread w/ fried eggs? O.M.G. I could eat that every single day! And of course, my all time favorite DC standard - Old Ebbitt Grill.
