Broward Health has four hospitals in the Ft. Lauderdale area. They use Cerner

Nemours children's and Arnold Palmer in Orlando. Shands in Gainesville

West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton. Last I knew, couple of months ago, they were still using travelers in the ED. Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter uses travelers. Memorial Healthcare, Broward County, uses travelers and has several hospitals in the area.

Kurt Chase Atlas MedStaff was the absolute best in getting me my first assignment and supporting me through my first year as a traveler. Cant go wrong with Atlas Medstaff though!:)

The only hospital that is close to "urban" in Denver is St Anthony's - UofC hospital moved out to Aurora years ago. Parker is a great location and u r not far From the city!! I lived in Denver area for years!!

I've lived in Parker for 8 years & loved it. Parker Adventist is right off 470 & close to I-25. There are some great apartments off Parker Road towards Arapahoe Road. You would be close to the Tech Center (DTC) & still have an easy commute.

Parker Adventist is a great hospital.

Another great hospital is The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Its a 200+ cancer only hospital here. Each floor is specialize (BMT, Leuks, Gym/Uro, Neuro, etc) I am currently on my first assignment here, and just extended. Very traveler friendly. I, too, want to travel and do oncology mainly on assignments. So following your post as well:)

I worked Medstar Oncology a few summers ago. LOVED this group of girls. We stayed busy most of the day, but they had their act together so it wasn't crazy and they were all team players. I don't know if they are the same group, but if so, I think you will enjoy working with them. They accepted me with open arms from day 1. I rode my bike in every day from Columbia Heights and was able to park right outside the front door. I think all but one of the nurses lived outside of DC. Traffic is pretty bad in that area. If you plan to drive, I would either try to be close, or plan to commute via the Metro and ride the bus the rest of the way. I had to rent a room from someone, which was not my preference (gotten off of AirBnB), but I really wanted to be in DC and not outside of it. If I came out again, I would still stay in the city. To be able to step out your door and either ride my bike a few miles to The Mall, or ride the metro to The Mall made it so easy to be a tourist. And although there are several neighborhoods dotted around DC, and they each have their pros and cons, Columbia Heights for me was a good decision. Safeway and Giant in walking distance, Target, Bed,Bath and Beyond,Best Buy, just to name a few were very convenient to me. Bloomingdale area is just south of the hospital. Nice area, several restaurants, but shopping not as much. Adams Morgan is also nice, and they have ton of restaurants and are close to Columbia Hts and their shops. Once you get below Logan or Dupont Cr, the price may have just gone up. You may find something over in the Georgetown area because of the university, but your commute just got longer. But it is a cool area with tons of shopping/restaurants, the river front, and not a far distance to the DC monuments,Arlington Cemetery, Kennedy center just to name a few. Gosh I could go on and on... I loved being in DC and hope to get at least one more assignment there before I am done traveling. I was only in DC for 10 weeks, but there is still plenty I did not get to. I was just starting to hit the not so popular tourist sites when I was done. If you have any specific questions, I will see if I can answer them for you. Tell the girls, Jade said 'hello' and I hope everyone is doing well.... Have fun in DC!!!

I have never worked there but I have been in there over a 100 times. Great location in Clackamas. Will be cold and wet this time of year. Typical Kaiser with a lot of union employees that make others do there work. Just being truthful

BMT nurse here. Just started at Dana Farber in Boston today. I felt like there weren’t many oncology positions opened when I was looking.
