Pediatricians in Spartanburg, SC

We use Charlotte Hall at Spartanburg Pediatric Health Center on E. Broad Street in Spartanburg. She's a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner & is wonderful with my 3 yr old Autistic son (he has several other disorders & illnesses as well). He loves her, she's sweet, loving & takes plenty of time with him & to answer any questions I may have!! She's very proactive & doesn't hesitate to refer to specialists when needed.

We see Dr. Gretchen Mathias at Carolina Pediatrics. She is patient, sweet, thorough and proactive--plus my son who has autism and a million other things loved her. They are located off Pelham at the Children's Hospital. http://www.ghschildrens.org/carolina-pediatrics-of-greenville.php

We see Donna Smith too but if he's "complex" Dr. Lee Daly at North Grove can treat

Don't see dr. Shelley Mahafey at that practice. We see Erin Bailey at the northgrove office. But we see a developmental pediatrician every 6-12 weeks to manage his adhd and autism. I would not trust a pediatrician to be up to date on new research

Allison Loftis Dominick, we saw Lee Daley once and only once. He retracted my son's uncircumcised penis, which is NOT ok, and it showed me right then and there he wasn't up to date on current research or AAP guidelines

We love Parkside Pediatrics. We've been with them since my oldest was born 8 years ago. My son has autism and they've been wonderful. Parkside referred us to Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics when he was 2 and we received his diagnosis from them. We still see Developmental Pediatrics 3-4 times a year. Both are located in Greenville though.

We also had bad experiences with Dr Shelley blaming my child's special needs on parenting. Once my first son slapped her in the face, she gave us a referral to dev peds and with my second, i just tell her what referral we need and she gives it to us now. I wouldn't recommend her to a family still searching for answers, but for where we are now, she has finally conceded that my parenting isn't all bad! Lol

Thanks everyone! My son has autism and we see Dr. Scott Beane at Pediatric Assoc of Easley and LOVE him, but it's a heck of a drive for her. We also see Developmental Behavioral peds, but we all know that's not someplace she's going to get into any time soon....

Palmetto peds is now Medical Group of the Carolinas, I believe. 560-9600 is the number that got me to Westside last time we needed it. I have 2 with autism, adhd, epilepsy, and one is also urinary incontinent. We go there and are fairly happy.

We see Dr. Erin Bailey and she referred us to Development Pediatric but that's in Greenville.

And I would also recommend Dr. Stafford. He won't have a problem signing the form since he's the dr all the home birth mamas see for official "permission"

I am also going to suggest Cornerstone Family Medicine in Greer.

Dr. Stafford signed it for us. I know that's not Spartanburg, but we live in Boiling Springs and drive to Greer to see him.

I like Dr. Mills at Palmetto Pediatrics. It's right by Fatz on Broad River.

Palmetto Pediatrics on Broad river is great! Both of my kids have gone there since they were born. Dr. Miller is our Dr but they are all great!

I agree with Dr. Cope at Sandhills! We love him & he's our primary pediatrician but any time we've had to see others at Sandhills we've never been disappointed!

Dr. Cope at Sandhills. 378 Lexington but have also been pleased when we had to get in at Sandhills on Broad River Rd in Irmo and weekend service across from PRMH.

If Dr. Cope is at Sandhills now then I would DEF see him! He was my kids Dr at Palmetto Peds for awhile and was awesome!

I go to dr. Stafford at Cornerstone Family Medicine-but he's in Greer.

Dr. Stafford is not a bad drive from Spartanburg and totally worth it.

We see Dr. Beavers and he was supportive of extended breast feeding and cosleeping without a question. We vax on schedule so I have no clue on his views with that. Dr. Surka is always my 2 nd choice when we have to go in if Dr. Beavers isn't available.

We use Dr Stafford as well. I like him because because he seems to use good sense and not just going "by the book". I loved how he supported me skipping rice cereal after his nurse scoffed and tried to "tell on me". Lol

The only dr office that would take Johnny was Family Practice, and although it is residents they do really good with Johnny.

Dr. Yelton is amazing! We've been with him for almost 6 years. My middle had a dairy intolerance and he allowed me to change my diet to see if that was the cause of her projectile vomiting instead of us going ahead with meds. I've breastfed 2+ years with both my girls and going strong at 11 months with little man. He's super supportive.

We love Dr. Kidwai at Palmetto peds-north grove. However, there are a couple there we aren't fond of right now

Dr Charlotte Hall with spartanburg pediatric health center down town spartanburg. It's a part of GHS she breastfed her baby and has been very pro-breastfeeding with me. She loves it and constantly praises me.

Dr Yelton (Westside) and Dr Cleland (Northgrove). Easier to get into Northgrove office though.

We currently go to Carolina pediatrics-west and see Marcia Parra. But we're not very happy with her. We may switch to Dr. Yelton!

I third Dr. Yelton. He's awesome!

We saw Dr. Parra once. She seemed very by the book and stern. Yelton is go with the flow and seems to support parent decision. We are 7 mo breast feeding we haven't had any issues other than some reflux in the beginning and he urged me to just hang strong no meds or changing to formula like I feel some others would have pushed.

We use Dr. Shelley at Pediatrics West as well. We used Pediatrics Associates for about 6 years and I had good experiences with the doctors but I have found that my wait time at Pediatrics West is MUCH shorter and the office is more convenient.

I'm not in Spartanburg but we go to Parkside Pediatrics in Simpsonville. They are wonderful and worth the drive. We drive about 45 min one way. They have a lactation consultant on staff. They have two buildings. One building for newborns and the other for everybody else.

Dr Mahaffey is who we use. Jonathan also likes dr Yelton or jack Cleland All 3 at pediatrics west side just past target.

I had the same experience as Laurel. I loved drs at Pediatric Assoc, but it was a long drive (before they opened the duncan office) and a long wait when my kids were sick. So we switched to Palmetto Peds West (their name has changed, but its near Target) and love it. We use Dr.Parra but have also seen all the other drs too and like them all.

I hear Dr Parra is amazing at Palmetto Peds. We use to be at Pediatric Assoc and loved it there; but we see Kameron Klosterman

Dr. Parra at Medical Group of the Carolinas - Pediatrics West. We just saw her yesterday. She is so attentive and knowledgeable. She was born to be a pediatrician. She's fantastic with the kids AND the parents. She's remembered who I was since Rylan's very first appointment. I also like that she's not quick to recommend medicine for my kids, but doesn't withhold it when it's necessary either.

We go to Palmetto Pediatrics at the North Grove campus and see Dr. Cleland. We love him!

Dr. Cleland is Robert's ped...he is wonderful.

Palmetto Pediatrics north grove! I use Dr. Kidwah. But had to see Cleland and another on before and I feel they are all great!

We use Parkside pediatrics. They are at five forks on woodruff and also just opened up a new office on verdae blvd. my kids always see "their" doctor unless it's a sick or last minute appointment. But, I LOVE all the doctors there. And they are a Christian based practice.

Palmetto Pediatrics North Grove! Our main dr is Dr Kidwai but Dr Cleland is amazing too!!!!

The boys go to Dr Kidwai at Palmetto Pediatrics at North Grove. My nieces also went to him when they were little. We love him!

Ped associates...we see Dr. Edwards and shes great!

We have Dr. Egge at ped associates, they are great and will come to Regional.

Dr Mcleod is my fav as well!
