Tara... trust me, Pure Peppermint oil is all natural, makes your home smell pepperminty for about a week, but best of all, keeps them out at this time of year. You should try. Key word: "pure" peppermint oil. Do not dilute. About $7 for a small bottle that lasts 2 seasons. But it sounds like this resident wants to remove a pretty bad year round infestation and she's already used chemicals. Wish I could guarantee PPO would drive those out, but... no.

Bug Slayer makes a spider product. Haven't used that one but the box elder bug one is amazing so I would assume the same on the spider one.

We've had family of all ages here in our house after using Pure Peppermint Oil on cotton balls - never an issue. Even my 3 playful cats avoid the cotton balls. Chrissy, can you tell us why it is a problem?

Check with Rove Pest Control - they have treatments for specific issues. I'm not sure what they do for moths or carpet beetles, but they irradiated a pretty nasty ant problem I had at my place. And, they'll come out for free in between treatments if you see any insects.

Regular Irish Spring Soap (green) cut them in half to make them go farther and put them in corners. Mice hate the smell! Also Peppermint Oil on cotton balls.
