I'd guess it's not your age but the fact that you're female.I've had the same issue at dealerships in town here,and at Canadian Tire.I politely informed them that just because I'm female didn't mean I was dumb about mechanical things and still had issues.I've never had an issue since I started going to Paul Ward.
