I highly recommend Center Street Auto Repair. 3007 S Pine St, Tacoma, WA 98409. (253) 472-1913. A woman I know who works in law enforcement - a lot of them take their cars there. Mr. Klump, the owner, will even look at your car for free. I have never been cheated by this guy! He totally ROCKS! Everyone I've sent to him have loved this guy!

Best place I've found is Ball Auto -its in stadium district, and has been a local family run biz for three generations. I've had pretty major and minor work done there. They always stay in budget, sometimes under. They also provide Clear Gas (100% gas - no ethynol), which is better for most cars. I always fill up with it.
