Windshields are covered under comp and comp claims do not increase your insurance.. Glen at Action Auto Glass and Bandit Glass are the best two in our area.. That I've had personal experience with and I've been an insurance agent for over 20 years in The Dalles .. Great luck to you .. I've never heard what you were told in my experience ..

Recently got a pretty good size chip in my window, and went to Bandit Glass and they did an AMAZING job. Plus I didn't have to do anything, they swung by my work and fixed it up! Great family business and extremely good guys.
