There's a certified child care center at Water's Edge called Kids Club. My friends and co-workers that take their kids there always have nice things to say. Their number is 541-506-5786. I'm pretty sure they have an after school program running right now as well:)

I cannot recommend Rose and Jon at Reach for the Stars Discovery School highly enough. My children have gone for years--my oldest was 18 months when she started and my youngest started when she was around 9 months, I think. They have a diverse age group which lends to a family feel It's a wonderful set up with activities centers, reading centers, and discovery centers. My youngest is 22 months now and just the other day she grabbed a yellow start bath toy and said "ssaaarrr!" then found the matching one out of all the other ones. I attribute this entirely to Rosie and the style of education through play she fosters at her school. It's waaaaaaay more than a daycare. I'm so grateful my girls go!

I have wonderful neighbors that have a small daycare in their home. LUMI'S 542-296-8159 24/7 ...Sweet, hard working people.

Rkia Coleman watches my son. Healthy food options and fresh butts. Her hours are flexible and rates are great. She does 15.50 half day and 30 full day. She feeds kids 3 healthy meals and snacks in between. I love this lady!

Childcare Partners at the college keeps list of certified day care providers and of who has openings. Have you talked to the program at the old Wahtonka High School building? They accept children as young as 6 months old. It may be early Headstart but not sure.
