I went the high-premium no-deductible route, since it makes expenses more predictable. Depending on how the plan is structured, though, it can actually be cheaper to have a high-deductible plan and bank on hitting the Out-Of-Pocket Maximum early enough in the year that everything from that point on is covered. BTW, if you're in a state that has open data on the offered plans, check out https://www.diabeteshealthinsurance.org/ There's calculators there that will factor in doctor visits, meds, equipment, etc and show you which plan will be the best value for you.

For general practice I go to the care station bc all of the GP's I have had worked weird hours and never took a same day appt. I have heard that summit medical group has awesome doctors. For an OB/GYN I go to Dr. Wong in Clark. She is amazing. She actually just opened a new office right off the pkwy so it's extra convenient.

DeFilipis on Morris Ave for GP. He's pretty good about same-day appts. Rubino OB/GYN group in West Orange. Right across from St B's.
