The child psychiatrist is Dr. Kiri Saxena from Texas Childrens. You do have to have a referral. My mom had Ty evaluated by a David Hinsley from Victoria and based on that evaluation, Ty's pediatrician, Dr. Dimmick, made the referral to Saxena.

For Aspergers evaluation, there are several options but many have a long waiting list (8-10 months is what I hear recently): dr Daniel Williamson in Houston, dr Susan filipek in Houston, dr tomasovic in Sam Antonio, dr Patricia harkins in San Antonio, autism network center in Austin, dell children's hospital in Austin. I went for help 3 separate times in Esquimalt and was repeatedly told " Don't worry it will get better on its own! ". Thank god I got posted out to a base that had real Mental health services! I hope this person has more success than I did there and gets the help they need.
