I'm sorry to hear about you r shoulder. Dr. Ernesto Luciano with Virginia Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists did mine almost 2 years ago. He's their shoulder guy. I am very pleased with the results. He also repaired a torn Labrum on an employee of ours. I can get you his # if you'd like!

John Schaffer He did my shoulder a couple of years ago. Operates at DePaul. He did a great job! U of MI grad and he's from MI. Great personality. Felt comfortable talking with him and asking questions.

Cannot see Dr Carter or Jordan Young as they do not accept my insurance. So frustrated!

Cherri. I work close and with these surgeons will send you some reccomendations tomorrow. And yes jordan young would have been the reccomendation. Dr Midas fixed my full achilles rupture.

I work with knee replacement patients daily. Jordan Young is definitely the best but I also work with Atlantic orthopaedic at Sentara Leigh. I would say Dr. Gibson or Dr. Markam from Atlantic orthopaedic have good outcomes. Good luck! Also, all Sentara hospitals have pre- op classes for joint replacement. I would be happy to answer any questions you have. I'm in physical therapy at Sentara Leigh.
